Module 10 of 10 · Mental Wellness Academy

Future & Hope

Pairing goals with pathways, connection, flexibility, and small actions.

Section goal

Hope is active; it includes a valued direction and more than one possible route.

Memory routine: Imagine, Plan, Connect, Continue

Hope in this module is not optimism about how things will turn out. It is a direction you value, more than one route towards it, people alongside you, and something small you can do now. That is what makes it something you can practise rather than something you either have or lack.

Use what helps, adapt what does not, and keep your work private when you choose.

You do not have to handle everything alone.

This course provides general educational information. It does not diagnose conditions, provide treatment, or replace individualized support from a parent, caregiver, school professional, pediatrician, counselor, or other qualified professional.

If a concern feels too heavy, lasts, interferes with daily life, or affects safety, tell a trusted adult and ask for qualified support.

In the United States: call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline) · text HOME to 741741 (Crisis Text Line) · if someone is in immediate danger, call 911. Elsewhere, contact your local emergency or crisis services.
